Subtitle: "We’re not there to literally go toe to toe," said an organizer with the group Refuse Fascism.
The anti-lockdown folks believe either or both that lockdown is "a cure worse than the disease" or that the individual's right to go about his normal daily business as would be lawful absent the virus trumps any government authority to act in the interests of public health, if not absolutely then at least given the limited dangers actually posed by this virus.
Neither is a fascist belief, nor is there the least reason to think the anti-lockdown folks are in some other way committed to fascist beliefs.
Which is not to say none who support their dissent are fascists or nearly that.

"We will be following social distancing precautions, knowing that we are putting our lives in danger," Hershberger said.
And of course they couldn't pass up a chance to play the victim card.
"In a society where black people, Latinos, and Native Americans are already dying at disproportionate rates, who do you think will be sacrificed in order to re-open America and get the economy going again?" he said by email.
Native Americans?
