This is one of the better sites out there for political commentary.

And as many have pointed out the comments tend to be better informed, more intelligent, and more civil.

So in fact I do regret that this morning one of their thought police, Chris Bertram, took a look at my blog, decided I am infra dig, and disinvited me from the blog.

I could be wrong, but it looks like he has simply purged every comment I wrote thereafter.

Not a single profanity, obscenity, or uncivil word did I utter.

Not even so much as an irate word did I say, but I guess that doesn't matter, since quite angry comments do not seem too outlandishly rare at that blog.

But I defended those in Europe who want to stop Muslim immigration to their countries and pointed out that people known as "Islamophobes" have a considerably lower body count to their credit than people known as Muslims, by and large.

Yes, there is one such person currently in prison, I believe, in Norway, who has personally run up a shocking body count and publicly expressed dismay he did not kill more.

But the point is true all the same, and one lunatic plus a few other fanatics can hardly compare with whole armies of Jihaders slaughtering people by the tens and hundreds of thousands, globally.

Not to mention marrying or slaughtering young girls - usually for going to school - or selling them into slavery, for Pete's sake.

So that point stands.

What is it with politically correct types who cannot stand for perfectly civil disagreement?

Oh, wait.

That question answers itself, doesn't it?
