Trump ran on mass deportation of all illegals with no exceptions, calls for a wall, denunciations of DACA, and has already disappointed the Buchananites who supported him and who have torpedoed DACA every time in the past, as well as the comprehensive reforms offered by the gang of eight, by protecting dreamers for another 6 months while Congress has its chance to act.
Graham predicts the senate will not be a problem, the problem will be in the House and the president making calls and acting in support will be needed to make this work.
It was the House that stopped comprehensive reform because it allowed for legal residence for many of the 11 million in 2013, unacceptable to the Buchananite hardliners who denounced it as "amnesty".
