The best man doesn't have a chance

Sure, the Democratic nomination should be Bernie's for a lot of reasons, some to do with the differences between his and Hillary's agendas but others to do with differences between him and Hillary as persons.

Their moral qualities, one wants to say.

Bernie is far from the liar, knife-fighter, low-roader, back-stabber, and narrow-minded, conceited, and arrogant bitch that Hillary is.

Those things matter.

But it's going to be hers, all the same, evidently not so much because of the sisterhood as because of the blind and inexplicable devotion of black Democrats to Hillary.

Black voters in southern Super Tuesday primary states are reputedly going to crush Bernie, and for the life of me I cannot see why.

This is all just so much vaporware.

But that will be the end of it for the soi-disant socialist senator.
