Newt Gingrich on Fox suggested modifying the law to make illegal the gadget ("bump stocks") Paddock used to make his semi-automatic weapons fire in a fully automatic way.
But a senator whose name I missed was just on CNN saying any such gadget, any modification to a firearm that makes it fire in a fully automatic way is already illegal.
