The liberal standard for their adversaries: To be accused is to be guilty

And it's not just about white police, athletes, or college boys.

BooMan on the Dershowitz accusation

From being a liberal hero Alan D has gone over the years to being a bête noire for his views on Israel, 9/11, torture, Islam, and the Jewish identity of not only The Jewish State but the Jewish people of the diaspora.

Remember when it was Roman Polanski and the US was seeking his extradition from France?

As for the Brit tabloids, well, they're having a ball.

But their target is no boring Jewish American lawyer.

Prince Andrew may have been secretly filmed with underage girl he is alleged to have abused

The hell you say.

The Mirror has a photo of a broadly smiling Andrew with a very happy looking young girl alleged to be Jane Doe 3.

It does seem that lewdness may well have taken place, so to speak, of a perhaps rather icky nature.

But if so it looks like abuse by technicality, the Florida age of consent being unusually high at 18 and the girl having been 17 at the time of the alleged whoopee-making with Andrew, though she claims to have been enslaved for whoopee-use by others at 15 or 16.

Prince Andrew 'underage sex slave' claims she was paid £10K after he bedded her

Hmm. Pretty well paid for a slave, I'd say.

Tabloids will pay her very well for continued scoops and she will get even more rich on lucrative book deals.

The poor thing.

Prince Andrew named in sex abuse complaint, palace says claims are “categorically untrue”

There is likely fire here, somewhere, I suppose.

But the whole thing seems to be so about the money as to be laughable.

By an odd coincidence I have just got from B&N a new paper copy of Lolita, having decided some weeks ago to re-read it after some thirty years.

Remember James Mason?

Brilliant.

Are we dealing here with a pack of joyously mercenary nymphets?

Could the original Epstein prosecutors have thought so, and decided to let it all go with a minor charge of solicitation for just that reason?
