When we were children of 7 or 8, living in the woods and the fields with the lost wild mammals and the cows, a neighbor with my brother and I walked once, up the rural street, and peed as we went.
Neighbors freaked.
Women were alarmed.
My parents, on notice, chastised us.
As if anyone had ever told us boys not to do that.
So was the world, in those days.
