Donald Trump launches 'extreme vetting' Cold War ideology test for entering US
The Republican presidential nominee said: "In the Cold War we had an ideological screening test. The time is overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today. I call it extreme vetting."
The government would use questionnaires, social media, and interviews with friends and relatives to determine if people seeking to immigrate or get visas supported American values like tolerance and pluralism.
Those excluded would be people who did not believe in the US Constitution, support bigotry and hatred, believe Shariah law is more important than US law, or would not "flourish in our country".
Those opposed are already saying it's unconstitutional.
Just another lie, of course.
