These are propaganda lines used almost from the very beginning by Democrats and their allies against Trump.
Trump is so unprecedentedly awful, they say, that abstention from damning him outright and uniquely in news coverage amounts to giving his intolerable and inexcusable wickedness a pass.
"Fair and balanced" journalism, "two sides to the story" approaches, and keeping editorializing out of the news must all be rejected by responsible and honest news media, they say, when it comes to covering Trump.
The man is a bigot, a racist, and a misogynist so egregious that denials are intolerable, offensive, and complicitous, and should be given no air time at all in the news media, they say.
The damning facts about Trump are so blatant, threatening, and immoral that they must be repeated in news reports about him as undeniable, established, objective, and intolerable facts rather than partisan attacks fit only for op/ed pieces.
