Irma is going to crush South Florida

Hurricane Irma kills 10 in Caribbean as hurricane watch issued in South Florida

A huge storm that now promises to be worse than Andrew, according to the FL governor.

He and the Mayor of Miami are telling everyone to just get out of South Florida, flee, run away.

The weather guys are saying most likely it will run up the east coast of Florida and make landfall somewhere along the coast of Georgia or South Carolina.

But a track straight up the middle of Florida is only a bit less likely, and is the worst of all scenarios for sheer destruction and loss of life.

Least likely is a track up the west coast of Florida into the Gulf of Mexico.

The Herbert Hoover Dike at Lake Okeechobee, the second largest freshwater lake in the lower 48 after Lake Michigan, is expected to hold.

But if it doesn't the additional damage and loss of life will be horrific.
