“A pandemic of fear”

In the alternative reality of the right, the ideas of repeal or limitation of the 2nd Amendment and significant disarmament of America are just terrifying to all good Americans who value their traditional freedoms.

The rest of us see America as too much like a saloon full of drunken cowboys who have to be disarmed for the public good, whether they like it or not.

Remember Wyatt Earp?

TV used to celebrate him as an exemplary American and a stand-up guy for American values.

His claim to fame?

He banned guns not only from the saloons but the entire town of Tombstone.

And then he and his friends shot the hell out of the cowboy patriots who refused to obey the law.

Wyatt Earp, liberal gun grabber and genuine American hero.
