I seem to recall it being recently documented that when you
tell members of the ordinary, ill-informed, stupid public what the Republicans
actually want to do if given power they pretty uniformly refuse to believe
anyone could really intend anything so absurd.
The longer and louder the Republicans go on with this stuff,
the better.
