Mainline Protestant Christianity is not what it once was but the
Catholics, anyway, still teach that you can burn forever in hell as punishment
for missing church or cursing.
And that, they say, is because a just and merciful God wants
it that way - because the first humans he made ate an apple.
Heck, infants burn forever who never had a chance to
personally sin, but missed batptism.
So what’s the big deal?
