11 ways the Republicans are right and the Democrats are wrong.

The point is to not reward gate-crashers and not attract still more of them, as previous “reforms” have done.

Not deporting every blessed one of them is surely enough heart, eh?

Profiling is good, by the way.

And where’s the beef with the beef, eh?

Don’t you like American beef?

If the Republicans would just get over their annoying, abject fealty to libertarianism, Ayn Rand, fiscal conservatism, a half mythic and outdated US constitution, and relentless and unnecessary Zionism, and make their peace with 20th Century economic progressivism I'd be voting for them, again, rather than for a party of Democrats dominated by the un-American anti-Americans.

The shoes would be on the other feet and it would be the Republicans who qualify as “the lesser evil,” in my view, as they have from time to time in the past.

As things stand, I can vote at all only while holding my nose, with grave regrets and profound misgivings.
