North Carolina Republicans Push Through Anti-Renewable Energy Bill in 'Banana Republic' Vote

It was a vote to cut subsidies financing development of currently uneconomic renewable energy technologies.

As liberal at another site complained only today, nobody brings nuance to a propaganda war.

Or much concern for truth, either.
