The shame of this is disgusting.
Did O really say this?
In a speech at the United Nations around this time, the
president declared — no doubt with Nakoula in mind — “The future must not
belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”
I can understand a devout Muslim feeling that way.
But an alleged devout Christian?
And though anyone is entitled to his personal opinion no one
speaking as an American president has any business endorsing a concern with
only religious justification.
What would it mean for an American president to say that to an American audience about Jesus, for example?
Since when is the attitude toward religion, toward any religion,or toward all religions of free Americans any business of the American president, at all?
