Planet-hopping for resources

Avatar

What if there is no technological fix and crucial resources just run out, where you are?

What if the alternative to planet-hopping for resources is living like the Indians of Amazonia?

Phooey, the hypocritical silliness of American, Hollywood reds notwithstanding.

Pay off the blue guys as little as possible to just get them out of the way, I say, assuming simply taking what you need is not practical.

We have made the sheikhs and tribal leaders of the barbarians of the Middle East fantastically rich and fantastically powerful in return for access to resources they knew nothing about and for which they had no use.

Resources they happened to be sitting on.

And how is that working out?

Hollywood, of course, holds the opposite view, as it has made clear in numerous films, with varying degrees of accusation aimed at 500 years of eurowhite expansion.

Heck, even Tom Cruise is making movies – fun movies – with that indigenista bias.

The world according to Howard Zinn.
