There are several hunger strikes under way at Gitmo by
prisoners demanding something.
Release, I think.
I could never understand why this stunt, generally tried only by political prisoners (I guess Muslim terrorists count), ever works.
If your kid says he’ll hold his breath until he turns blue do
you give in or say something like “Hmm, I’ve never seen you blue, before”?
Starvation is a really nasty way to die, but if that’s your
pleasure . . . .
