Why we hate politics and all the contemptible a-holes
associated with it.
So far as I know, the O administration has regularly refused
to enforce immigration law.
The president publicly refused not only to defend DOMA in
court but even to enforce it.
This is how Republicans refuse to allow laws to be executed
that they oppose.
The two parties each refuse to accept the fundamental
obligation of government officials to abide by and faithfully cooperate in
execution of laws properly arrived at through the regular processes of the
republic.
They are like two opposing street gangs or tribes of warring
children who care less and less how their conflicts spill over into damage to
the public and the nation.
With their petty and stupid moral and religious and
political obsessions, these competing fanatical idiots are more and more, in
our time, like the terrorists, guerillas, and “lone wolf” murderers for whom
the one side and the other alternately have the effrontery to make excuses.
Just a little bit further along and we would recognize them
for the criminal psychopaths they really are.
