It is quite untrue that Nietzsche had nothing at all, or
even nothing much, to say about politics.
In his earlier works, for instance, he often comments on the relationship
between religion in general or Christianity in particular and government.
For a sample, see Human, All Too Human,
aphorism 472, Religion
and government, an interesting discussion of religion, authoritarianism, and
democracy.
In latter works his comments on politics, like his dicta on
ethics, shift to explore such contrasts as herd vs. individual, slave vs.
master, Christian/slave vs. Greek/pagan/aristocratic, and life-denying/pessimistic vs. life-affirming morals.
Always in favor of the latter, of course.
Always in favor of the latter, of course.
