Consider the people who don’t care all that much about the
future of the planet, and certainly not enough to forgo hundreds of billions,
possibly trillions, to be realized if, but only if, we use the planet’s carbon
fuel reserves.
“Yeah, global warming is real, but who cares? Hey, what has the future ever done for you?” is not a politically
marketable viewpoint, perfectly reasonable though it is.
You want people to go on using carbon fuels?
Then you have to deny global warming.
Which could, of course, be ideologically motivated leftist baloney, anyway.
