Sanders booed by House Democrats
Sen. Bernie Sanders is still talking like a guy who's running for president.
But frustrated House Democrats — who booed him at one point during a morning meeting — say it's time to stop.
With the Democratic convention just weeks away, Sanders still hasn't endorsed one-time rival Hillary Clinton and dodged questions about when he would during a tense meeting Wednesday morning with House Democrats.
. . . .
"The goal isn't to win elections, the goal is to transform America," Sanders said at one point, according to multiple lawmakers and aides in the room.
Translation: this lifelong professional office holder and winner of elections doesn't much give a shit whether they win this November.
And he may be getting to a point at which he doesn't really care as much as he has said in the past about keeping Trump out of the White House.
A lot of people further left than real Democrats think this time, as they have often said in previous elections, that they would rather see the Republicans win and really screw things up so they can get a chance to make their revolution.
Much as Al-Qaeda thought in the past and ISIS thinks now that blowing up existing regimes in Muslim lands gives them their shot at taking over and running those places to suit themselves, though the political mess these left-wing radicals want isn't quite on the same scale of mess.
