MSNBC just said it could come down to McCain.

If it does, I think Ocare is fried.

My mistake.

The Diva voted no, after all, and it failed, 51 to 49.

Had he (or Collins, or Murkowski) voted yes it would have been a tie, Pence would have voted yes, and it would have passed.

McConnell right now is blaming the Democrats, all of whom voted no.

The media are crediting McCain, but not Collins, and not Murkowski.

And that seems to be the end of the GOP's attempt to redeem their 7 years of promising to get rid of Ocare, for this year, anyway.

There are stories out now with McCain explaining his vote, "It was the right thing to do."
