Sean Spicer resigns as Anthony Scaramucci is appointed next White House communications director
And he just shuffled his legal team.
Well, actually, Trump is constantly shuffling his legal team.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned Friday morning after Trump confidant Anthony Scaramucci was named the White House communications director, according to reports.
Spicer told the President he vehemently disagreed with his choice for the top communications post, the New York Times reported.
The hedge fund bigwig’s appointment was announced as soon as Friday, according to reports.
He’ll fill the position vacated by Mike Dubke, who resigned from his post in late May.
Scaramucci’s hiring surprised Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, who wasn’t made aware of the move until it was finalized, according to Axios, which first reported the news.
Reputedly, this is not much different from giving the job to Sean Hannity.
As for Spicer, he was OK with any amount of lies and bullshit, defending and repeating anything at all, so long as he got to run his own shop and be the on-screen communications boss.
As soon as Trump gave that top dog role to somebody else, Sean quit, lying to everybody about why.
