You will not get rid of Trump by primarying him.
He will crush all challengers, as he did in 2016.
Even if he achieves nothing of what he has promised in his first term.
He alone speaks for the mass of Republicans' trailer trash agenda and trailer trash resentments.
The loyalty of those voters has nothing to do with standard Republican fiscal conservatism or even social conservatism.
And certainly nothing to do with globalism.
These people are the flotsam among the voters who were successfully drawn to the Republican Party by decades of demagoguery about God, guns, race, and class.
These are the white trash voters all that bullshit managed to get to pull the R lever in spite of the party's openly plutocrat agenda of unremitting class war.
Unsurprisingly, they have little understanding of and no interest in the stupid, cruel, vicious agenda of actual conservatives and real Republicans.
Theirs is the agenda of the demagogues, and Trump is their one and loyal champion, win or lose.
Win or lose.
It is their misfortune that he is an utter blowhard, without the least real competence or commitment.
He is a Muppet, and his is a Potemkin presidency.
