And so he appoints as the department's top scientist a man who knows nothing about science at all, a wingnut talk radio loon and climate change denier who hates the department.

And it is absolutely no accident that he has left so many jobs unfilled at the State Department, though that's about opposition to globalism rather than opposition to regulation.
