Took their eyes off the ball

The media have been watching Moore while the GOP tax plan advances and gets worse.

The senate version kills the individual mandate, for example.

Partly to be seen repealing Ocare and partly to save $ 338 billion to cover costs of tax cuts for the rich.

And what about CHIP?

And so much else.

Update, 11/16.

The cuts will go through, temporary for individuals and permanent for corporations, though Trump may not have anything to sign before Christmas.

Huge deficits will be run.

Mic Mulvaney says SS Disability is welfare and Trump says welfare will have to be cut.

Ryan says he's going after entitlements, Social Security and Medicare.

Imagine my joy to hear my Social Security income - my only income - and Medicare health insurance will be cut back to shrink deficits and debts created by huge tax cuts for the super rich and their corporations.

Update, again.

House Republicans just passed their bill to cut taxes for the wealthy, add $1.456 trillion in debt by 2027, and trigger automatic annual cuts to Medicare of $25 billion.

The bill passed by a vote of 227 to 205, with great cheering and clapping.

Because they are monsters.

No Dems voted for this but two abstained, while 13 GOPsters voted against and all the rest for it.
