Liberal racism and liberal sexism

Any time now they’ll be calling it a privilege not to be raped, the point being to encourage and license man-hating among women and guilt among men.

Liberal identity politics is just as hateful and ugly as the conservatives make it out to be.

And in truth Republican propaganda is rarely as racist or as sexist, in the sense of encouraging, indulging, or excusing animosity and hate, and never as unashamedly or even proudly.

Anyway, to the actual issue.

Personally, I think the memo is too demanding.

What?

Wait for an imminent threat?

Ballocks.

And Roosevelt and Capra would have been right, in Tomasky’s imagined scenario.

And I’m not with him on “enhanced interrogation,” either, come to that.

But he’s typical, is he not?

He imagines that his liberal moral outlook is the outlook of America, the age, and the world.

Or anyway the enlightened world.

And that it ought to be controlling.

Of what, you ask?

Why, of everything. And everywhere.

Here is Ms. Walsh at her most annoying liberal white girl stuff.

She thinks the proper perspective for this discussion is to think about the rights of the accused.

Except this is war and nobody is being accused of anything.

People are just being fingered by the guys in charge of the fighting and then killed.

That’s war.

But she and apparently a whole lot of other liberals, male and female, white and black, seem to think it’s about some kind of privilege.

The charge being that those who criticize Obama are manifesting (suffering?) American privilege (her term) or white skin privilege (a term used by non-whites with an attitude problem or self-hating – well, not really self hating – whites), causing them to judge unfairly or from an ignoble motive or perspective.

As opposed, say, to just not getting the concept of WAR, which has been my complaint about the critics.

Leave it to liberals to get into a twist about how guilty whites, Americans, and men should feel, and about what, in connection with a discussion of drone warfare.

Of course, the vast American public that so supports Obama’s use of drones has already been widely damned for it as racists by many of the professional left opposed to drone use and given to the prevailing PC lies that Middle Easterners are not white and Islam is a race.

So I guess it’s a nice touch that black defenders of Obama and conveniently guilty white girls get all racial about the white left that opposes drones.

So Glenn Greenwald is a racist, huh?

Outstanding.
