Misplaced privacy concerns

Those phones that can't be cracked defeat legitimate, warranted police searches.

They make really outstanding tools for criminals and terrorists.

But those security cameras all over the streets provide an intrusion on your privacy with no warrant, whatsoever.

The logic is exactly the same as placing GPS implants in everyone's body, up and operating all the time.

So what does the nerd world of tech-savvy kids and social media politicos really care about?

Their phones.

Reportedly, the FBI and the Texas Rangers can't crack Kelley's phone, and yes, of course, they have a warrant.
